Bands, Brews, & BBQ: Jake Birdseye

Grab your friends and head on over to MDC on Thursday, June 25th, for an evening of live music, tasty food, and mindfulness. This week’s Bands, Brews, & BBQ session features a regional favorite… Jake Birdseye! 🐦👁️

Born and raised in Duluth, MN, Jake has been playing guitar since he was ten years old, learning his trade by listening to his father’s cassette tapes. He plays down-to-Earth country music, and he performs both cover songs and original compositions about love and life in blue-collar USA.

⭐ A special note: Jake’s Bands, Brews, & BBQ session is happening at the same time as Youth Mental Health Night! It’s the perfect time to take care of yourself and your loved ones while connecting with Minnesota’s beautiful outdoors and letting the restorative power of music wash over you. 🧠💞

Admission is FREE—to the music venue, as well as the Museum, the Research Center, the Playground, and the Play Studio—every Thursday evening from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

The Evening’s Schedule:
🆓 4:00pm ~ Free admission starts
🍟 4:30pm ~ The Food Court opens
🎼 5:30pm ~ Jake starts playing
👏 7:30pm ~ Jake takes a bow
🫂 8:00pm ~ Things wrap up, we say goodbye (until next time!)
