Attention all puzzle lovers! Come compete against your fellow dissectologists (Vocabulary time! That’s a fancy term for jigsaw enthusiasts.) in a puzzle contest. We’ll provide the puzzles. Each puzzle has 500 pieces. Teams have 90 minutes to complete their puzzle. The first team done wins. You keep your puzzle when you’re done.

This time, we’re separating the puzzle contest into two levels: a beginner level for those who do puzzles a few times a year or less, and an advanced level for those who do puzzles a few times a month or more. Teams may enter both levels but must pay for both entries if they choose to do so.

We’re also having a puzzle swap! Bring a puzzle, take a puzzle.

The Day’s Schedule:

✍️ 11:00am—Beginner team registration opens

🧩 12:00pm—Beginner competition begins

🏆 1:30pm—Beginner competition ends, awards given, tables cleared

✒️ 2:00pm—Advanced team registration opens

🤔 2:30pm—Advanced competition begins

🏅 4:00pm—Advanced competition ends, awards given, tables cleared

🔄 11:00-4:30—Puzzle swap (lasts all day!)

Food and beverages will be available for purchase in the Dining Room and at the Tire Bar. Museum admission is complimentary for puzzle contest participants, but spectators must pay general admission.

Bring a puzzle mat, spatulas, or trays if you want!
