Interpretive Tour: Hiking

Step back into time with a Minnesota Discovery Center tour guide! This 1-hour interpretive hiking tour takes you through the unique, historical industrial landscape that MDC calls home. As you trek through the Redhead Trail System, you’ll learn about the sometimes-hidden past of a mining environment in reclamation—and you’ll get in a good workout.

This tour is appropriate for beginner through advanced hikers ages 10 to adult. Some familiarity with hiking best practices is advised. Appropriate hiking footwear highly is recommended.
