Join us for a free, family-friendly celebration of Native American Heritage Month! Presented in collaboration with the Bois Forte Heritage Center & Cultural Museum, this special event highlights Indigenous children’s games, drumming and singing exhibitions, dancing showcases, and an Indigenous artisans’ market. Plus… the first 100 guests who bring a new/unopened toy donation supporting the Bois Forte community will receive a free Ojibwe-themed Meal! (One toy donation = one meal ticket per individual.) 

This special day is all about learning together—connecting through stories and shared experiences—while supporting Indigenous artists and educators.

To make sure everyone can participate, Museum admission will be free all day. Explore our award-winning exhibits, enjoy the scenic trails, and immerse yourself in the vibrant traditions of Ojibwe culture.

Event Schedule:
🪶 10am–2pm: Indigenous Kids’ Games
📿 10am–5pm: Indigenous Artisans’ Market
🍲 12pm–2pm: Ojibwe-themed Meal (Free for the first 100 guests with a toy drive donation benefiting the Bois Forte community!)
🥁 3pm–5pm: Artists’ Showcases featuring drumming, dancing, and singing performances
