Family Discovery Day: International Archaeology Day

Join us on Saturday, October 25th, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm for Family Discovery Day: International Archaeology Day! 🪏🏺🦴

In celebration of all things archaeology, we invite kids of ALL ages (including adults who are young at heart) to sift for buried artifacts, try their hand at piecing together an archaeological puzzle of broken plates, toss an atlatl spear at a (cutout) bison, and learn about the science of archaeology using our Meta Virtual Reality headsets! 

The regular cost of admission applies to this event. But, if you have an MDC membership, or if you purchase a ticket for Trolley Pumpkin Days (happening October 25th-26th), you’ll gain free access to Family Discovery Day: International Archaeology Day!
