Bands, Brews, & BBQ is back for the summer at MDC!
Come join us on Thursday, August 21st, as well as Thursdays throughout the summer, to enjoy good music, good food, and good times. Admission is FREE—to both the museum and the music venue—every Thursday evening from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
The eighth artist up on stage this summer is Jake Birdseye! A third-generation truck driver, Army veteran, and self-taught guitar player, Jake calls on his life experiences to take his listeners through love, joy, and heartbreak. He is known for his story-telling lyrics and his timeless melodies, which he blends together with his traditional country sound.
The Food Court opens at 4:30pm, and Jake Birdseye starts playing at 5:30pm, so come grab your BBQ pork ribs, brisket tacos, and waffle fries (or a vegan sandwich, if that’s how you roll!) and hang out with your friends while supporting a local musician.
