
Interpretive Tour: Mountain Biking

$20Mountain biking is hard work. So is mining! Join MDC’s recreation staff in a two-wheeled guided tour of labor history using the Redhead MTB Park’s “Boneyard Loop.” This 1.5-hour activity includes a half-hour MTB safety/skills session followed by an interpretative mountain biking tour around the Boneyard (which is rated as a “green” beginner-friendly trail).
Previous biking experience is advised. You can bring your own mountain bike and helmet or rent gear at a discounted price from the 30West Bike Shop, located in MDC’s summer admission building. Helmets are required!
