DESCRIPTION:🗓️ Date: Sunday\, August 16\n⏰ Time: All day long!\n📍 Place: Redhead MTB Park\n⭐ Age Range: 16 years old +\n💵 Cost: FREE \nDuring this special day of hiking\, ALL Redhead MTB Park trails are dedicated to hiking only ALL day long! That includes the expert-only\, black diamond trails normally only available for biking. If you prefer foot power to pedal power\, this is your chance to explore the rocky switchbacks of the Orange Crush segment and the rolling rounders of the Roller Derby segment. ️‍️🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️⛰️ \nPlease note: This is an UNGUIDED hiking opportunity. It is highly recommended that you have some hiking experience if you plan to head out on the tougher trails. For hiking advice\, get in touch with the Redhead Redfeet hiking enthusiasts on their Facebook group\, or swing by MDC’s front desk and ask to speak with an MDC Recreation Staff member. \nImportant note: To participate in MDC-sponsored Redhead Redfeet hikes\, you must sign a waiver! Waivers and pens will be handed out and collected at the trailhead. Also\, there’s no need to register; just show up at the trailhead! \nBy the way\, don’t forget to pick up your “Hiking Passport” at MDC’s front desk before you head out! Use your Hiking Passport to track your hiked miles throughout the summer and earn stickers along the way. The more you hike\, the greater your season-end rewards will be.
