DESCRIPTION:You’re in for a musical treat (and delicious eats!) on Thursday\, July 2nd\, because Between Howls is joining us for Bands\, Brews\, & BBQ! 🎊 \nThis dynamic husband-wife duo includes Ren Howl and Nick Howl. The two of them met in college\, bonded during a late-night jam\, and have been making music together ever since. (Romantic\, right?) Ren plays the violin\, Nick plays guitar\, and they share vocals. They’re known for their unique vocal harmonies\, thoughtful lyrics\, and virtuosic instrumental arrangements. They’re very busy with touring and recording\, so don’t miss them while they’re here! \nAdmission is FREE—to the music venue\, as well as the Museum\, the Research Center\, the Playground\, and the Play Studio—every Thursday evening from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. \nThe Evening’s Schedule:\n🚶‍♂️‍➡️ 4:00pm ~ Free admission starts\n🥤 4:30pm ~ The Food Court opens\n🎻 5:30pm ~ Between Howls starts playing\n👏 7:30pm ~ Between Howls take their bows\n🌇 8:00pm ~ Things wrap up\, we say goodbye (until next time!) \nCome grab your chicken tenders\, some creamy mac and cheese\, and a lemonade\, and hang out with your friends while supporting your local musicians! 🎶☀️

DESCRIPTION:🗓️ Dates: June 27 (3pm)\, July 2 (5pm)\, August 15 (3pm)\n📍 Place: Redhead MTB Park (meet at MDC’s front desk)\n⭐ Age Range: 13 years old +\n#️⃣ Capacity: 5 participants\n💵 Cost: $15 (10% discount for MDC Members)\n✒️ Registration: Call to register! (218) 254-7959 \nJoin us for a two-wheeled adventure on Redhead MTB Park’s Boneyard Loop! This 1.5 hour tour starts off with a 30-minute basic safety and skills presentation. Then\, your guide will lead you out onto the dirt trail\, taking you through the twists and turns of the loop\, pausing occasionally to share the labor history that shaped the land. 🚵🏼‍♂️ \nOkay. We know a name like “Boneyard” Loop might sound a little intimidating\, but this trail segment is rated “green” for beginners\, and it’s a great place to get introduced to mountain biking if you haven’t done it before. Having some previous “vanilla” (paved road) biking experience is advised. \nParticipants can bring their own mountain bike or rent one at a discounted price from 30West Bike Shop\, which is located in MDC’s lobby.
