This week’s Bands\, Brews\, & BBQ session features a regional favorite… Jake Birdseye! 🐦👁️ \nBorn and raised in Duluth\, MN\, Jake has been playing guitar since he was ten years old\, learning his trade by listening to his father’s cassette tapes. He plays down-to-Earth country music\, and he performs both cover songs and original compositions about love and life in blue-collar USA. \n⭐ A special note: Jake’s Bands\, Brews\, & BBQ session is happening at the same time as Youth Mental Health Night! DESCRIPTION:🗓️ Dates: June 25\, July 16\, and August 6 (all Thursdays)\n⏰ Times: 5:00pm (each time)\n📍 Place: Redhead MTB Park (meet at the trailhead!)\n⭐ Age Range: 16 years old +\n💵 Cost: FREE \nLace up your sneakers and get ready to embark on a hike with Kari Kilen\, Lead Guide of the Redhead Redfeet hiking group! This MDC-sponsored hike is free and open to folks aged 16+ and older. It’s a moderately difficult hike—not too easy\, not too hard—that takes place on Chisholm’s beautiful Redhead MTB Park trail system. 🚶🏽‍♀️‍➡️🌄 \nImportant note: To participate in MDC-sponsored Redhead Redfeet hikes\, you must sign a waiver! Waivers and pens will be handed out and collected at the trailhead. Also\, there’s no need to register; just show up at the trailhead! \n— \nBy the way\, don’t forget to pick up your “Hiking Passport” at MDC’s front desk before you head out! Use your Hiking Passport to track your hiked miles throughout the summer and earn stickers along the way. The more you hike\, the greater your season-end rewards will be.
