SUMMARY:Small Things Matter: An Interpretive Tour
DESCRIPTION:MDC has a special interpretive tour for the youngest Iron Rangers on October 25 and October 26 from 11:00am to 12:00pm! Small Things Matter: An Interpretive Tour follows the story of Tommy\, and Old Knacker (psst—that’s a mythical\, subterranean gnomish creature from Cornish folklore) who finds a home on the Iron Range after traveling far from his homeland. \nThis interpretive tour will entertain children aged 3-7 years old. Registration costs $10 per group\, so an entire family (or friend!) unit can tag along for just one crisp Alexander Hamilton. \nThis is a walk-in tour! You can sign up at the Admissions Desk on the day of the tour. The limit is 10 groups per tour. \n✨ About the Interpretive Tour ✨ \n🔍 Step back in time and walk in the footsteps of the first Iron Range explorers. \n🧚‍♂️ Help Tommy\, an Old Knacker\, tell a story about meeting fairy\, gnome\, and troll friends. \n🌲 Imagine trekking through the Minnesota wilderness in search of iron ore. \n⛏️ Hear stories of how small discoveries led to one of the world’s largest mining regions. \n🤝 Learn how everyday acts of cooperation built thriving immigrant communities. \n💡 Discover the big truth: small gestures can create lasting change.
