SUMMARY:Family Discovery Day: Fiber Arts Fun
DESCRIPTION:🧶 Friday\, August 8 | 3:00pm–6:00pm\nRegular Museum Admission Applies \nStep back in time to an era when clothes\, rugs\, and other household essentials didn’t come from a store—they were made at home. On Friday\, August 8\, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm\, local fiber artists will display their amazing talents of spinning yarn and weaving textiles at the Minnesota Discovery Center. This very special Family Discovery Day is perfect for curious kids\, crafty adults\, and anyone fascinated by how things were made before fast fashion. Enjoy traditional folk expression from across Europe\, and support talented young student-performers as they twirl their way across nationwide stages! 🎵💃🎤 Tickets for the show include FREE general admission to the Museum the day of the performance\, which means free access to Family Discovery Day: Fiber Arts Fun.
